‘YES’ is a Multimedia Abstract Collection, and an ongoing project, focused on being free, explore and welcome new ideas.
Especially created in those moments I feel stuck, it is A REMINDER to build TRUST, to be BRAVE, to build a UNIQUE PROCESS and UNIQUE STYLE , Celebrating uniqueness, give space to ideas and dreams.

No versus Yes
YES to me has come AFTER NO.
WHAT DOES IT MEANS?
In my personal journey I had to learn to say NO and make space TO SAY YES TO MYSELF ->OVERCOME FEARS ->FEEL HAPPY ->FEEL PROUD 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I started creating this pieces WITH the idea in my mind to literally SAY YES and welcome all ideas and thoughts coming to my mind, giving myself permission to put them on paper or canvas. NO JUDGMENTS and NO BLAME.
I kept in mind that making errors it is just fine and to take the chance to be inspired by those mistakes instead of judging and getting frustrated, being kind and giving myself the time to learn, enjoy the freedom of not having rules, explore.
Because of not having a background in art studies + growing in Florence, ‘ la culla del rinascimento’ (the cradle of the Renaissance), home of some of the most worldwide famous artists of the past, the idea of painting and being a painter it can be tricked with expectation and rules, with how it has to be done . In fact leading me sometimes to FEEL CAGED, NOT GOOD ENOUGH, GET FRUSTRATED…
Therefor when I needed to get rid of those holding back feelings I have made space for inspiration!
–MATERIALS and PROCESS-How do I create an abstract piece??
This is an abstract multimedia art collection and EVERY PAINTING IS AN ADVENTURE 🧭 🧳 my favorite way to create!
As a matter of facts, every piece is a unique exploration and journey.
I often have started a piece literally just with a YES written on a white paper or canvas.
Consequently from there, staying connected with moments, feelings, thoughts and senses, I proceeded step after step, layer after layer, one choice leading to the next and creating a composition until I feel it’s done.
Knowing where to start and not knowing how it will end up, mixing everything up, being surprised at every step, gives me the curiosity and motivation to get to the end + makes every and each painting unique.
So far, I have mostly used PAPER as support , because it ease my creating process, it is faster and helps me to stay free. Maybe because it is a known support as well as I love it!
On paper I have used acrylics , ink, oil pastels, tape, watercolors.
Recently I have also enjoyed using CANVAS with paper, acrylics and oil pastels .
–Apparently it is so easy to get stuck for thousands reasons! –

YES BELIEVE-YES YOU CAN-YES you can SAY NO–YES you can TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF –YES you can TAKE SPACE FOR YOURSELF-YES GO OUT THERE AND BE HAPPY –YES YOU CAN make it –YES you are BEAUTIFUL–YES you can TAKE A BREAK—YES your DREAMS are PRECIOUS-YES you can BE AN ARTIST-YES you can CREATE –YES you can FEEL –YES you can be SENSITIVE AND BRAVE –YES you can CRY and yet be STRONG –YES you can CHANGE—YES….
